Wine was always a constant presence, sometimes playing a subtle role, at times stealing the spotlight. As a kid, I was truly fascinated by that mysterious (and forbidden) liquid that held such an important role on our table.
During my academic studies of enology, the science behind winemaking, I grasped the more rational side of wine. However, it was during hands-on work in cellars and vineyards across Italy and Europe that I truly witnessed how the unique qualities of the terroir could be encapsulated in a bottle.
My many years in the restaurant industry gave me the chance to become an excellent wine communicator, connecting with both industry experts and enthusiasts alike. To me, wine is a work of technique, sweat, and love.
